Recording, recording, recording
March 5, 2016

I love being in the studio! Right now I'm producing a CD here in Woodstock  for Geoff Samuels that is shaping up wonderfully. When that is completed I will be heading up to the Toronto area to work on my next release with the multi (really) talented Stephen Miller. So...limited performances for now, but I look forward to having a new CD to share with you this summer.

Blues Hall of Fame Induction!
June 3, 2014

It was a gala evening on June 1st at the beautiful Club Helsinki in Hudson NY.

Michael Packer did the honors of inducting me into the NY Blues Hall of Fame.

I am honored to join the ranks with artists I have always admired such as John Hammond, Johnny Winter, Happy Traum, and more.

Mark Dann played bass and Sam Friedman played harp with me for the evening.

Almost famous, yet again!!
October 15, 2013

My neighbor came up to me after a performance at the Ashokan Summer Hoot and said she just read about me in Will Hermes' book on the NYC music scene in the 70s: "Love Goes to Buildings On Fire." (I was Elly Greenberg back then.) Yes indeed, there I am on page 68 becuase Hilly Kristal had me as a regular performer at CBGB since he loved and wanted to promote Country, BlueGrass, and Blues. I was the first act at the new Bowery digs when he moved from 13th Street, and subsequently opened for many of the budding punksters such as Television. What a wild time it was....and those bathrooms....don't ask.

I Love Radio!!
April 14, 2013

This is very exciting: I now host a monthly radio show on WIOX Community Radio 91.3 FM. It's called "The Front Burner" ... 2 hours of acoustic based music from around the world. Really around the world- not just US & UK. The second hour focuses on indie regional artists from the New York State area, as well as national acts that are touring in the Catskills/Upstate neighborhood. Live performances, interviews and spins. Soon I will be joined by fellow singer-songwriter Dave Kearney who will be my co-host. Tune in the first Saturday of every month from 10:00 AM to Noon: www.wioxradio.org
